This policy explains how YK Apps Yazılım Bilgi İşlem Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. ("YK Apps", "we" or "us") handles personal information in Fontly. Fontly lets you draw letters, make fonts and practise your handwriting.
Information we handle
Your creations. The letters, drawings, fonts and practice progress you create are used to provide Fontly's creation and practice features. When you export a file, it is saved or shared to the destination you choose.
Account information. When you use account features, we process the account identifier and sign-in details provided to us, including your email address when you share it. These details are used to manage your account and provide access to its features.
Purchases. Apple processes App Store payments. Purchase records, product identifiers and subscription status are used to provide and restore paid access. We do not receive your full payment-card details from Apple.
Technical information. Device and operating-system details, app version, usage events and diagnostic information help us understand how Fontly works, fix problems and improve reliability.
Support messages. When you contact us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you send. Please include only what is needed to help with your request.
How we use information
We use information to provide the features you choose, maintain account and purchase access, respond to support requests, improve performance, protect the service and meet legal obligations.
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our agreement with you, pursue legitimate interests in reliable service and security, comply with the law, or act on your consent. You can withdraw consent without affecting processing that took place before you withdrew it.
Service providers and sharing
Service providers that support hosting, account management, diagnostics and customer support process information for those purposes. Apple handles its payment and App Store services under its own privacy policy. A service you choose when sharing or exporting content handles the exported file under its own terms.
We may disclose information when required by law or to protect legal rights and the security of our services. Where information is processed outside your country, applicable data-transfer safeguards apply.
Permissions and choices
Fontly requests device permissions when they are needed for a feature. You can change permissions in your device's Settings. Where consent is required for tracking or optional processing, that processing is subject to your choice.
Keeping and deleting information
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the relevant feature, resolve a request, maintain security or meet a legal obligation. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised. Limited records may remain where retention is required by law.
You can initiate account deletion in Fontly. Deletion removes the account and associated personal information that we are not legally required to retain. Files you export remain in their chosen destinations until you delete them there. See Data & account deletion.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your information, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, or raise a concern with a data-protection authority.
Email hello@ykapps.ist to make a request. We may ask for limited information to verify that the request relates to you. Do not send passwords or payment details.
Children's privacy
Fontly is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information can contact us to request its removal.
Changes and contact
We update this policy when our practices change. The date above identifies the current version. Important changes will be communicated where required.
