This policy explains how YK Apps Yazılım Bilgi İşlem Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. ("YK Apps", "we" or "us") handles personal information in Loveloop. Loveloop is a shared space for two linked partners to keep memories, share a location, send a nudge, build playlists, answer quizzes and exchange notes.
Loveloop is designed to be shared with one other person. Content you add to a shared loop is visible to the partner you are linked with. Please add only what you are comfortable sharing with them.
Information we handle
Your shared content. Memories, photos, notes, playlists, quiz answers and other items you add are used to provide the features you choose. Items added to a shared loop are made available to your linked partner. Items you keep private to yourself remain visible only to your account unless you share them.
Pairing information. To connect two accounts we process an invitation or pairing code and the resulting link between the accounts. This record is used to deliver shared content to the right person and to end sharing when a loop is unlinked.
Location information. When you turn on location sharing, we process your device location in order to show it to your linked partner. Location sharing is optional, is switched on by you, and can be switched off at any time in the app. You can also withdraw the operating-system location permission entirely in your device’s Settings. We use location to provide the sharing feature you have enabled and not to build advertising profiles.
Notifications. To deliver a nudge, a reminder or an update we process a push notification token for your device. You can turn notifications off in your device’s Settings, and nudges will no longer be delivered.
Account information. When you use account features, we process the account identifier and sign-in details provided to us, including your email address when you share it. These details are used to manage your account and provide access to its features.
Purchases. Apple processes App Store payments. Purchase records, product identifiers and subscription status are used to provide and restore paid access. We do not receive your full payment-card details from Apple.
Technical information. Device and operating-system details, app version, usage events and diagnostic information help us understand how Loveloop works, fix problems and improve reliability.
Support messages. When you contact us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you send. Please include only what is needed to help with your request.
How we use information
We use information to provide the features you choose, connect and disconnect a shared loop, deliver notifications you have enabled, maintain account and purchase access, respond to support requests, improve performance, protect the service and meet legal obligations.
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our agreement with you, pursue legitimate interests in reliable service and security, comply with the law, or act on your consent. Location sharing and notifications are based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time without affecting processing that took place before you withdrew it.
What your partner can see
A linked partner can see the content you add to your shared loop and, while it is switched on, the location you are sharing. They may be able to see when shared items were added or changed. Turning off location sharing stops new location information being shared with them. Unlinking a loop ends the sharing relationship for future content.
Content that has already been seen, saved to a device or exported by your partner is outside our control. Consider this before sharing something sensitive, in the same way you would with any message.
Service providers and sharing
Service providers that support hosting, account management, notification delivery, diagnostics and customer support process information for those purposes. Apple handles its payment and App Store services under its own privacy policy. A service you choose when sharing or exporting content handles the exported file under its own terms.
We may disclose information when required by law or to protect legal rights and the security of our services. Where information is processed outside your country, applicable data-transfer safeguards apply. We do not sell personal information.
Permissions and choices
Loveloop requests device permissions when they are needed for a feature, including location, notifications and access to photos you choose to add. You can change or withdraw any of these in your device’s Settings, and you can turn location sharing off inside the app. Where consent is required for tracking or optional processing, that processing is subject to your choice.
Keeping and deleting information
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the relevant feature, resolve a request, maintain security or meet a legal obligation. Location information is retained only as long as needed to provide the sharing feature you have enabled. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised. Limited records may remain where retention is required by law.
You can unlink a partner or initiate account deletion in Loveloop. Deletion removes the account and associated personal information that we are not legally required to retain. Files you export remain in their chosen destinations until you delete them there. See Data & account deletion.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your information, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, or raise a concern with a data-protection authority.
Email hello@ykapps.ist to make a request. We may ask for limited information to verify that the request relates to you. Do not send passwords or payment details.
Children’s privacy
Loveloop is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information can contact us to request its removal.
Changes and contact
We update this policy when our practices change. The date above identifies the current version. Important changes will be communicated where required.
